Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has significantly influenced the formation of modern scientific and technical vocabulary, creating a new and dynamic layer of specialized terminology. This article examines the issue of lexicographic representation of AI vocabulary in contemporary linguistics, focusing on the processes of collecting, analyzing, classifying, translating, and standardizing AI-related lexical units. The study highlights the main challenges of AI terminology, including rapid terminological growth, lack of standardization, translation and equivalence problems, semantic ambiguity, interdisciplinary characteristics, and the dominance of English-based terminology. Particular attention is paid to the role of modern lexicography, corpus linguistics, and digital terminology resources in developing effective AI dictionaries and multilingual terminological databases. The research emphasizes the importance of creating systematic, continuously updated electronic dictionaries that can accurately reflect the evolving nature of AI concepts. The findings contribute to terminology studies, computational linguistics, translation studies, and the development of national scientific languages in the digital era.
