Abstract

this study examines the relationship between investment source diversification and the economic performance of horticultural farms in Uzbekistan. Using survey data from 280 producers, the research applies Factor Analysis (FA) to construct an Investment Diversification Index and Latent Class Analysis (LCA) to identify heterogeneous investment groups. The findings reveal significant differences in income and profitability across investment classes, indicating that diversified financing structures enhance investment capacity, technological modernization, and farm competitiveness. The results highlight the strategic importance of financial diversification for sustainable development in the horticulture sector.
