Abstract

The travelogue genre is considered one of the oldest and most universal literary phenomena, born from humanity's need to comprehend the environment, familiarize itself with the lifestyle of foreign peoples and nations, and document macrocosmic movement across spaces. The formation of this genre system is intrinsically linked to major migrations in the chain of social progress, the routes of trade caravans, religious pilgrimages, and scientific research expeditions. Travel literature is not merely a collection of dry geographical notes, but rather a complex literary reflection of the author's intellectual worldview, aesthetic ideals, and cultural dialogue with other civilizations.
