Abstract

The article examines the essence, forms, and mechanisms of regional economic integration. It analyzes theoretical approaches to integration, its stages, and typology, as well as key institutional, economic, and social instruments. Particular attention is paid to the role of integration in reducing regional disparities, stimulating investment, developing human capital, and strengthening economic resilience. Modern trends such as digital integration and sustainable development orientation are also considered.
