Abstract

In today's world, attention to sustainable development and environmental protection has become not just a trend, but an integral part of a successful business — and the restaurant sector is no exception. This article examines why striving for sustainability in the restaurant industry is important and presents specific practices and strategies that help minimize waste and enhance business eco-friendliness. Reducing food waste, improving energy efficiency, using recycled packaging, and engaging guests in environmental initiatives are considered key directions for increasing the sustainability of restaurants. Implementing these measures allows businesses not only to reduce environmental impact but also to increase the attractiveness of foodservice establishments to consumers..
