In an era marked by escalating environmental challenges, social inequalities, and governance demands, the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals into core management strategies has emerged as a critical imperative for organizational longevity and societal impact. Sustainable leadership, defined as the practice of guiding organizations toward long-term value creation while balancing economic performance with ethical, social, and environmental responsibilities, serves as the linchpin in this transformation. Traditional leadership models, often fixated on short-term financial gains, are increasingly inadequate in addressing global issues such as climate change, resource scarcity, and stakeholder activism. This thesis proposes to explore how sustainable leadership can effectively embed ESG principles into the heart of business strategies, fostering resilience, innovation, and competitive advantage. By examining the interplay between leadership behaviors, organizational culture, and ESG integration, the research aims to bridge the gap between theoretical frameworks and practical implementation, providing actionable insights for future leaders in diverse industries.
