Résumé

This article analyzes the theoretical and sociological foundations of activating reference groups and their mechanisms for enhancing individual social activity. Within the framework of the study, classical identification theories, social capital concepts, and modern network approaches are synthesized to develop a three-stage structural model for transforming reference groups from passive entities into active social drivers. The article sociologically substantiates the interconnectedness of cognitive identification, resource integration, and social mobilization processes. The findings include methodological recommendations for utilizing the potential of reference groups in developing youth social capital and increasing the effectiveness of social policy.
