Résumé

In many countries, students study English as a foreign language as part of their school education. English plays an important role in global communication, higher education, and future career opportunities. However, for learners whose first language is not English, the process of learning can be quite challenging. Students often face difficulties related to grammar, pronunciation, and communication. In addition, psychological factors, teaching methods, and limited exposure to the language can make learning less effective. This paper examines the main challenges faced by non-native English learners in school and explains how these factors influence their progress.
