FORENSIC MEDICAL ASPECTS OF DEATHS CAUSED BY ELECTRIC SHOCK

Abstract

This thesis analyzes the forensic medical examination findings of 14 corpses that died as a result of electric shock and associated high-thermal burns between 2021 and 2025. The thermal, electrochemical, mechanical, and biological effects of electrotrauma on the body, local and general pathological changes, the mechanism of death, and the features of forensic medical diagnostics are highlighted. The significance of site examination data, sectional and histological examination results, and thanatogenetic analysis in assessing deaths caused by electric shock was demonstrated.
