This article provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of the formation and use of comparative and superlative forms in English and Karakalpak languages. The study explores morphological, syntactic, semantic, and functional aspects of expressing comparison, emphasizing both similarities and typological differences. The research also highlights the role of intensifiers, word order variations, and pragmatic meanings in expressing degrees of comparison. Consequently, the findings demonstrate that the systems of comparison in both languages, though functionally equivalent, reflect distinct grammatical structures and cultural conceptualizations of evaluation and intensity.
