Language is not only a means of communication but also an important tool for preserving and transmitting the cultural experience of a nation. Phraseological units, including idioms, proverbs, and fixed expressions, play a significant role in reflecting the cultural identity and social values of a linguistic community. These expressions contain figurative meanings that reflect historical traditions, moral principles, and collective experiences accumulated over centuries. Through phraseology, speakers express their worldview, attitudes toward social relations, and perception of reality. This article examines the relationship between phraseological units and national identity, analyzes their role in reflecting social values, and explores their cultural specificity.
