Аннотация

The Brontë sisters—Charlotte, Emily, and Anne—are among the most influential figures in English literary history. Writing during the Victorian era, they produced works that challenged traditional social values, introduced psychological complexity into fiction, and redefined the role of women in literature. Although their literary careers were brief, their novels and poems had a profound and lasting impact on the development of the English novel. This paraphrased article reexamines the Brontë sisters’ historical background, major works, and literary significance, emphasizing how their innovative themes, narrative methods, and moral concerns contributed to both Victorian and modern literature.
