Аннотация

This article analyzes the linguistic features, semantic and stylistic similarities and differences of phraseologisms in the Uzbek and English languages. Phraseologisms are considered as expressions reflecting the richness of the language, its spiritual and cultural values. The study discusses the scope of use of phraseological units, their relevance to the context, and problems in the translation process. The article also aims to identify semantic and metaphorical analogies between Uzbek and English phraseologisms.
