ARTISTIC-AESTHETIC ANALYSIS OF MAHMUDKHOJA BEHBUDIY'S DRAMA "PADARKUSH, OR THE FATE OF AN UNEDUCATED SON"

Abstract

This article presents a literary-aesthetic analysis of Mahmudkhoja Behbudiy's drama "Padarkush, or the Fate of an Uneducated Son." It examines the work's history of creation and publication, genre features, ideological and thematic orientation, plot-compositional structure, system of characters, and artistic-stylistic peculiarities. The study concludes that "Padarkush" represents the first example of Uzbek dramaturgy and national theatrical art, an educational-didactic work embodying the ideas of Jadidism.
