ROLE OF MODAL WORDS IN THE SYSTEM OF PARTS OF SPEECH

Abstract

In our language, there are certain groups of words that are not included in either meaningful or auxiliary words. These words differ from other parts of speech in terms of their semantic and grammatical features, meaning they are not like meaningful and auxiliary words. Although modal words are few in number in modern Karakalpak, they have unique characteristics in terms of meaning and function.
