Graves’ disease (GD), or diffuse toxic goiter (DTG), is an autoimmune thyroid disorder caused by antibodies stimulating the thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) receptor. Measurement of TSH receptor antibodies (TRAb) is useful for predicting recurrence of DTG after antithyroid drug (ATD) therapy. However, the association of other thyroid autoantibodies with DTG recurrence remains unclear.
