Nutrition habits in preschool children are directly linked to their healthy growth and development. Improper nutrition, nutrient deficiencies, or excessive intake can increase the risk of developing chronic conditions such as anemia, obesity, or impaired glucose metabolism. Recently, there has been increasing interest in integrated assessment, which evaluates children’s nutrition habits in combination with their risk of chronic disease. This approach allows simultaneous analysis of dietary quality and health status, providing a more comprehensive view of child well-being.
