Prophylactic endoscopic interventions play a pivotal role in modern gastrointestinal and minimally invasive medicine, providing opportunities for early detection of pathological conditions and reducing the need for major surgical procedures. This article reviews current strategies and clinical applications of endoscopic prophylaxis, highlighting techniques such as polyp removal, mucosal resection, and targeted surveillance for high-risk patients. Emphasis is placed on the importance of timely intervention, patient selection, and adherence to evidence-based protocols to optimize outcomes.
