This article presents the theoretical and methodological foundations of a methodology aimed at assessing the level at which students comprehend their own life experiences within the process of pedagogical diagnostics. In the study, comprehension of life experience is interpreted as a student’s ability to analyze past experiences, relate them to current activities, and consciously apply them to future decisions. Pedagogical diagnostics is considered an important scientific tool for identifying students’ reflective thinking, critical attitudes toward their own experiences, and the degree of personal meaning construction. The article substantiates the assessment methodology as a systematic approach that serves to identify students’ internal processes of understanding, determine personal development needs, and justify individual development trajectories..
