In the modern educational context, teachers’ professional competence is closely connected with their ability to communicate effectively in written form. Writing skills play a crucial role in teachers’ academic, methodological, and professional activities, including lesson planning, academic writing, assessment, reflective practice, and participation in scholarly discourse. This article explores the pedagogical and psychological essence of developing teachers’ writing skills. The study analyzes writing as a complex cognitive and communicative process, examines psychological factors influencing writing development, and identifies pedagogical conditions that support the improvement of teachers’ writing competence. The findings emphasize that systematic and psychologically grounded approaches to writing instruction enhance teachers’ professional effectiveness, self-expression, and continuous professional development.
