Abstract

The integration of Uzbek national elements into contemporary design has become a growing focus within textile engineering, fashion design, architecture, graphic arts, and interior decoration. This trend reflects a global shift toward cultural preservation, sustainable design approaches, and the creation of identity-centered aesthetics. This thesis explores the conceptual, artistic, and technological principles underlying the harmonization of traditional Uzbek motifs—such as khan-atlas, adras, suzani embroidery, geometric patterns, and ornamental compositions—with modern design methodologies. The study highlights how designers reinterpret historical heritage through minimalist forms, innovative materials, digital tools, and cross-cultural design strategies. The findings demonstrate that a balanced integration of national symbols into contemporary aesthetics enhances cultural continuity, strengthens brand recognition, and introduces a visually rich direction for future creative industries.
