Abstract

The article examines women’s prose through the analysis of female images in Marie Corelli’s novel “The Sorrows of Satan”. The study focuses on the typological, ideological, and aesthetic functions of female characters and their role in revealing the author’s moral and philosophical conception. Special attention is paid to the opposition of spiritual and material values embodied in female figures.
