Abstract

The article examines the pragmatic features of emotional-evaluative phraseological units in Spanish and Uzbek languages from a comparative perspective. Special attention is paid to their communicative functions, pragmatic meanings, and the role they play in expressing the speaker’s attitude toward reality. The study reveals both universal and culturally specific pragmatic characteristics of phraseological units in the two languages
