Résumé

This article examines the processes of implementing innovative ideas in the chemical industry of Uzbekistan during the 1970–1980s, analyzing their economic efficiency and practical significance. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of scientific and technological progress into production, the growth in the levels of automation and mechanization, as well as the formation of new technologies and research directions. Alongside notable achievements, the study also objectively highlights existing challenges in the sector, including outdated equipment, insufficient levels of automation, and organizational shortcomings.
