Résumé

This academic article analyzes the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), proposed by the People’s Republic of China, as a new model of global economic integration. The study systematically examines the conditions underlying the emergence of the initiative, its theoretical foundations, key economic mechanisms, and its impact on the economies of participating countries. Particular attention is paid to integration processes driven by the expansion of trade flows, infrastructure investment, financial cooperation, and industrial collaboration. In addition, the article assesses the financial, institutional, and environmental risks arising within the framework of the initiative.
