Аннотация

This article analyzes the role and importance of problem-based learning technologies in developing students' critical thinking and decision-making skills. The authors emphasize the capabilities of the problem-based learning process in teaching students to think independently, analyze different points of view, and make effective decisions in real-life situations. At the same time, the article also discusses the difficulties encountered in applying problem-based learning, including factors such as a tendency toward passivity, stress, problems in teamwork, and a lack of resources. Effective methods for overcoming these difficulties are proposed, and recommendations are given for the successful application of problem-based learning in the educational process. The article is useful for teachers in developing instructional methodology for students and provides a deep understanding of the role of problem-based learning in shaping critical thinking and decision-making.
