Abstract

This article presents a reflective account of an English teacher’s experience designing, implementing, and evaluating a series of integrated language skill activities for A2-level secondary school learners in Uzbekistan. The activities target listening, speaking, reading, and writing competencies using contemporary teaching methods such as Cooperative Language Learning (CLL), Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), the Lexical Approach, and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT). Each activity was designed with a specific pedagogical purpose—to enhance learners’ autonomy, encourage interaction, and strengthen receptive and productive skills in authentic and engaging contexts. The reflection highlights the strengths and challenges of each task, emphasizing the importance of using learner-centered, communicative, and integrated approaches in EFL classrooms. The article concludes that such multifaceted methodologies foster motivation, active participation, and comprehensive language development among pre-intermediate learners.
