Abstract

This paper analyzes the concept of literary literacy from the perspective of modern pedagogy, neuroeducation, and psycholinguistics. Literary literacy is interpreted as a complex cognitive process that involves understanding a text, generating personal meaning, developing aesthetic perception, and engaging in critical reflection. The study emphasizes that literary literacy is not limited to acquiring knowledge but is closely connected with cognitive, emotional, social, and cultural development. It highlights the importance of integrating neuro-pedagogical, cognitive, and student-centered approaches into literary education. The paper argues that effective development of literary literacy requires a coherent system that unites educational content, teaching methods, and assessment strategies. Such an approach supports the formation of independent thinking, creative interpretation, and socially responsible attitudes in learners.
