Abstract

This work analyzes the role of psychological trauma in the development of human personality and the formation of behavior. Psychological trauma is a mental injury resulting from significant life events or prolonged negative experiences, which negatively affects a person's social, emotional and cognitive functions. The work considers destructive behaviors arising from traumatic experiences, including aggression, isolation, self-harm, etc. as examples. It also highlights the mechanisms by which trauma leads to behavioral disorders and its importance in psychological rehabilitation. The work recommends ways to prevent, identify and provide effective psychological assistance to psychological trauma, and also emphasizes the need to develop social and personal resources to help a person recover from negative behavioral patterns.
