Abstract

Pomegranate cultivation has gained increasing economic importance due to its nutritional, medicinal, and commercial value. However, productivity and fruit quality are significantly affected by various insect pests. This article analyzes the major pests found in pomegranate plantations and evaluates effective control measures based on integrated pest management (IPM) strategies. The study synthesizes data from scientific literature, focusing on pest biology, damage symptoms, and environmentally sustainable control methods. The findings highlight the importance of combining cultural, biological, and chemical approaches to minimize yield losses and ensure sustainable production.
