Abstract

In geometry, the study of surfaces and their properties is one of the important areas of mathematics. Cylindrical surfaces are among the most common geometric bodies in practice. They are widely used in mechanics, architecture, physics, technology and many other fields. This thesis provides detailed information about cylindrical surfaces, circular cylindrical surfaces, the mechanism of their formation, as well as their intersections with planes. The cylindrical surface is explained through parametric equations, analytical expressions, and theoretical and practical explanations of the topic are given
