Abstract

As education continues to develop and evolve, independent learning is becoming more and more crucial for learners.  Students who are able to study independently have greater influence over their academic development and acquire lifelong skills.  The various strategies for enhancing autonomous learning in higher education are covered in this research paper.  It emphasizes important elements like self-control, motivation, and critical thinking. The study also focuses at how students' learning habits are influenced by their personal and contextual circumstances, as well as teaching strategies that promote autonomy.  Emphasis is placed on developing a learning environment that encourages discipline, time management, and efficient problem-solving.  Furthermore, the significance of technology and digital tools in assisting self-directed learning is examined, highlighting the necessity of a comprehensive and encouraging approach.
