Résumé

This article analyzes the linguacultural features shaping the formation and evolution of clothing and fashion vocabulary. Utilizing a historical-comparative approach, the study illustrates how socio-economic, cultural, and historical transformations within society are reflected in the lexical system of language. It examines the stages of cross-cultural interaction and the structural development of the "Clothing" lexical-semantic field in English, spanning from antiquity to the contemporary era of globalization and digital technology. Furthermore, the paper substantiates that constructing and analyzing lexical-semantic fields serves as a highly effective methodological framework in linguacultural research.
