Résumé

The integration of digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) in English language teaching has transformed the traditional classroom into an interactive, learner-centered environment. This paper investigates how AI-powered technologies such as adaptive learning systems, chatbots, automated feedback tools, and virtual classrooms contribute to language acquisition and pedagogical innovation. The study highlights the theoretical foundations of AI-assisted teaching, its practical applications in developing communicative competence, and the challenges associated with ethical and technical implementation. Findings suggest that AI integration increases learner motivation, personalizes instruction, and enhances assessment accuracy, though it requires teacher digital literacy and institutional support.
