This article examines effective pedagogical methods for developing reading literacy through the use of ecological texts in educational contexts. The study analyzes contemporary approaches to integrating environmental content into literacy instruction, exploring how ecological narratives, scientific texts, and environmental discourse can serve as meaningful vehicles for enhancing reading comprehension, critical thinking, and textual analysis skills. The findings demonstrate that ecological texts provide authentic, contextually relevant materials that simultaneously develop linguistic competence and environmental awareness, creating synergistic learning outcomes.
