This article examines the essence of the underwriting system in the banking sector, its role in the activities of commercial banks, and the main directions for improving its efficiency. The author analyzes ways to minimize credit risks, enhance client solvency assessment mechanisms, and proposes the integration of modern digital technologies to strengthen the underwriting process.
