CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS OF EMOTIONAL COLLOCATIONS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

The paper offers a comparative study of emotional collocations in the English and Uzbek languages, revealing how the corresponding emotions were linguistically represented through word combinations in these two languages with different typological features. The study adopts a corpus-based contrastive analysis of existing lexicographic resources, linguistic corpora, and phraseology and cognitive linguistics theoretical frameworks.
