Résumé

As recognized in Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the right to education is an inalienable right of every person. However, for refugee children who are forced to leave their homeland due to conflicts and persecution, the realization of this right involves specific challenges. Today, more than half of refugees worldwide are children, and ensuring their access to education is not only a humanitarian obligation but also a strict requirement of international law. Education serves as a “right to protection” for refugee children, supporting their psychological recovery, facilitating their integration into society, and laying the foundation for future self-reliance. This thesis analyzes the formation of international standards concerning the right of refugee children to education, their content, and the contemporary development trends in international law.
