Résumé

Climate change is one of the most urgent challenges facing agriculture today. In Uzbekistan, smallholder farmers are particularly vulnerable because they rely heavily on rainfall and traditional farming practices. Rising temperatures, irregular rainfall, and prolonged droughts have already led to significant crop losses. Studies show that climate-related crop losses in Central Asia can reach 20–30% in extreme years, causing economic difficulties for farming households.
