Résumé

This scientific article provides a comprehensive study of trigonometric identities, their mathematical significance, and their wide range of applications in science, technology, and engineering. Trigonometric identities represent fundamental relationships between trigonometric functions such as sine, cosine, tangent, and cotangent. These relationships form the foundation for simplifying complex mathematical expressions, solving equations, and analyzing geometric structures. The study emphasizes that trigonometric identities play a vital role not only in theoretical mathematics but also in practical fields such as physics, astronomy, architecture, and engineering. Through these identities, complex problems involving angles and distances can be reduced to simpler forms, allowing for more efficient and precise calculations. The paper further discusses the historical development of trigonometric concepts, their role in ancient civilizations, and their significance in modern education and applied sciences.
