Abstract

This article explores the pedagogical effectiveness of interactive whiteboards (IWBs) in foreign language teaching. It examines how IWBs enhance learner engagement, facilitate multimodal learning, and promote communicative interaction in classroom settings. Drawing upon constructivist and communicative language teaching (CLT) frameworks, the study highlights the benefits and challenges of integrating IWBs into language instruction. The findings suggest that IWBs foster a dynamic, learner-centered environment that supports visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning, ultimately improving linguistic competence and classroom interaction.
