Abstract

     In recent decades, language teacher education has shifted its focus toward promoting more effective reflective teaching practices. This study examines how engaging in teaching reflection supports novice language teachers in enhancing their professional performance. According to Gebhard (2009), new teachers build their professional identities and teaching skills most significantly during their initial years in the field. Our research aims to provide fresh insights into how reflective teaching assists teacher educators in achieving their objectives. Over the past few decades, language teacher education has undergone significant transformations by adopting approaches that prioritize student experiences. Worldwide, educators now consider reflective teaching techniques crucial for their professional growth. Reflective teaching enables instructors to evaluate and improve their instructional strategies and classroom practices, thereby enhancing their effectiveness [1].
