METHODOLOGICAL SYSTEM FOR DEVELOPING SPEECH SKILLS BASED ON AUTHENTIC TEXTS
Abstract
This article highlights the didactic effectiveness of a system of exercises developed based on authentic texts to improve the oral and written speech skills of 5th–8th-grade students in schools where the medium of instruction is Russian. The primary objective of the research is to provide a scientific and methodological justification for a system of exercises that helps students work with texts, analyze them, and develop their speech abilities. The article presents assignments aimed at mastering national-cultural units within authentic texts, as well as types of exercises that integrate language and speech activities.
