STRUCTURE AND SEMANTICS OF UZBEK PERSONAL NAMES: A LINGUOCULTURAL PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
This article examines Uzbek anthroponymics as a multilayered system whose formation has been conditioned by the prolonged interaction of diverse cultural and linguistic traditions. Primary attention is devoted to identifying the historical mechanisms of the stratification of personal names and their semantic organization.
