Abstract

This article examines the integrative and communicative approaches to designing language and speech materials in colleges and lyceums. It highlights the theoretical foundations and pedagogical principles of integrating language learning with content knowledge and communicative competence. The study emphasizes the importance of authenticity, learner-centeredness, and technology-enhanced instruction in developing effective materials. It concludes that combining integrative and communicative approaches fosters linguistic, cognitive, and intercultural competence, aligning language education with modern academic and professional requirements.
