THE IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING THE ACADEMIC ACTIVITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENTS
Abstract
This article examines ongoing reforms in the higher education system, particularly focusing on the development of students’ academic activity within the framework of the “Digital University” initiative, academic freedom, and the credit-module system. The essence of academic activity, its structural components (intellectual, motivational, emotional, and practical activity), and its role in fostering creative thinking are theoretically substantiated. The study also analyzes ways to improve the quality of education and enhance students’ intellectual potential through increased academic engagement.
