This thesis discusses the role of cybersecurity in modern society, the risks arising from young people’s active engagement with digital technologies, and the process of forming their information culture. Problems such as the expansion of Internet networks, online fraud, malware, and the vulnerability of personal data are analyzed. The importance of educating young people in digital security culture is substantiated. Moreover, the paper proposes ways to develop cybersecurity competencies within the education system and introduces preventive measures to ensure digital safety..
