THE PSYCHOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF DEVELOPING READING TRAITS IN CHILDREN: INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL APPROACHES

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the psychological, pedagogical, and social factors influencing the development and enhancement of reading traits in children. Special attention is paid to international research that emphasizes the positive impact of reading on children's thinking, emotional development, and social adaptability. Furthermore, the views of Uzbek pedagogues and psychologists are examined, and similarities and differences between national and global approaches are scientifically compared. Based on the findings, practical scientific recommendations are proposed for promoting reading traits among children.
