Abstract

This thesis analyzes the pedagogical significance of folklore music in the process of forming national identity in students from a scientific and theoretical perspective. The educational, aesthetic and spiritual potential of folklore music, its role in establishing national values, historical memory and respect for cultural heritage in the minds of the younger generation are highlighted. Also, the possibilities of developing students' awareness of national identity, patriotism, cultural identification and social activity through the effective use of folklore music in the educational process are substantiated.
