Abstract

Bilingualism is the ability of an individual or members of a society to actively and systematically use two languages [1]. This ability implies not only speaking two languages, but also the conscious use of the phonetic, lexical, grammatical, and stylistic resources of both languages. Bilingualism expands an individual’s communicative potential, activates cognitive processes, and enriches speech competence..
